We are excited to share that our undergraduate offerings, as well as many of our master’s and professional programs, are now housed under the umbrella of the WVU School of Medicine HealthProfessions. This change in name, from the former Office of Professional and Undergraduate Programs to HealthProfessions, helps us better convey our identity to our future students and is more encompassing of the many majors we’ve added to our School of Medicine family in recent years.

Program
Athletic Training (MS)
Immerse yourself in our unique curriculum and work with nationally recognized faculty in state-of-the-art classrooms and research facilities. Gain experience through clinical rotations with WVU Big 12 athletic teams, professional athletes, high school athletes, and more.
Learn to diagnose and treat a wide range of vestibular and hearing disorders and to practice audiology in an effective, ethical, and inclusive manner. Gain practical experience through clinical rotations in diverse medical and educational settings.
Follow one of two tracks - histotechnology or medical laboratory science - to become a disease detective. Gain hands-on, practical experience performing laboratory tests on tissues, fluids, and other samples that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Study the anatomy of communication disorders and prepare for graduate study in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. Gain hands-on experience working with clients and state-of-the-art equipment in our newly updated Speech and Hearing clinic.
